Nearly 50 Percent of Gamers are Women

The majority of people assume that most gamers are men. However, these assumptions were wrong. According to research published by Entartainment Software Association (ESA), nearly 50 percent of gamers, exactly 47 percent are women.

Facts presented by the ESA does not stop there. Female gamers are also women's average is nearly 30 years old. Some 30 percent of female gamers are those who are 18 years or older. The amount is greater than the percentage of boys younger than 17 years only 18 percent.
However, male gamers play games more than women. The average male gamer plays the game for 16 years. While female gamers play games for 12 years.
The development of smartphones and tablets also plays an important role in the progress of the game. The ESA survey, there were 33 percent of respondents who claimed to play a game of mobile devices, both tablets and smartphones.
